Smart Energy City: Real-Time Energy Monitoring in Norra Djurgårdsstaden

Smart Energy City fitted about 150 new apartments in Norra Djurgårdsstaden (Stockholm Royal Seaport) with real-time electricity, heat and hot-water monitoring plus demand-response controls, so appliances could run when power was cheaper or more renewable. Led by KTH with ABB, Ericsson, Fortum and Ellevio, the pilot ran 2015–2018 and closed with a final report.
