UC Berkeley Institute of Transportation Studies working paper, using TMB validation data: boardings on phase-1 lines up 20.3% then 9.5% (about 31.7% in all), phase-2 fixed lines up 24.2%, against a 2.1% fall in overall transit trips and 3.2% in private vehicle trips; 26% of trips involving a transfer at the end of 2015 (57% on V7) against about 11% on the old network; the 44% and 66% completed-network figures are model predictions. The authors published a journal version of the argument in 2017.
