City of Vancouver Open Data Portal

In May 2009 Vancouver council passed a sweeping open-data motion, and the city launched a public catalogue that September — one of Canada's earliest, though Nanaimo's launched three months earlier. Later rebuilt on the Opendatasoft platform, the portal now publishes city datasets — permits, business licences, election results — under the Open Government Licence – Vancouver.
