Interview with Salhi Ayach of the Algiers wilaya transport directorate: 22 junctions installed on a 7 km stretch between Belouizdad and Ruisseau, work halted by fibre-optic problems and by the undefined rules for operating the signal cameras, 53 of the 200 first-phase junctions surveyed and fitted without being commissioned, and only about 10 per cent of the 6.9 billion dinar first-phase budget consumed.
