Open Data Zürich: CC0 Government Data Catalogue

Zurich opened Switzerland's first open-government-data portal in June 2012. Today data.stadt-zuerich.ch lists 937 datasets, and every one carries a licence: 908 are CC0 public-domain dedications, the rest CC BY or CC BY-SA. A 2021 city-council decision made 'open by default' binding. Community developers now expose the catalogue to AI assistants through three open-source MCP servers.
