IFEZ Smart City Integrated Operations Center
A 24/7 control room in Songdo's G Tower coordinates CCTV, traffic-signal, security and disaster monitoring across the Incheon Free Economic Zone's three districts — Songdo, Yeongjong and Cheongna. Opened in 2017, it links to police and fire dispatch and is run by Incheon Smart City Co., Ltd. under contract to the IFEZ Authority; still operating as of 2026.
🎓 Lesson
Merging three previously separate district control rooms into one facility is a real operational fact, but independent public reporting on it is thin — most non-operator detail online comes from outdated visitor accounts, not verifiable operational data.
