The rollout is essentially complete (Wiener Netze, 30 March 2026: ~1.6 million installed, ~46,000 legacy meters left); no later count found. The national figure in impact was mis-dated: E-Control's final monitoring report (APA, 20 Nov 2025) gives 96.9% at the end of 2024, not ~97% at the end of 2025.
