Reporting the opening of Maputo's citizen service counter, the Mozambican news agency AIM quotes mayor Eneas Comiche on the platform behind it: "O e.acacia e um Sistema Integrado de Gestao Municipal (SIGEM) que abarca todas as areas de actuacao do municipio, incluindo atendimento publico, tramitacao de expediente, gestao de processos de trabalho para a administracao de recursos humanos, materiais e financeiros" - an integrated municipal management system covering every area the council works in.
Caveat
The mayor uses the phrase to describe what kind of system it is rather than as the name of one product, and the council's own website never uses the term.

AIM reports the opening of Maputo's Balcao do Municipe on 25 January 2024 - "A cidade de Maputo, capital mocambicana, conta a partir desta quinta-feira (25) com um Balcao do Municipe" - a purpose-built four-storey counter budgeted at 300 million meticais, and quotes the mayor saying the e.acacia platform behind it was built for delivering the council's services virtually and in real time.
Caveat
The report describes the counter on its opening day in January 2024. Nothing among the sources listed here shows that it is still running: the council's own website mentions neither the counter nor the platform.
