The BVG/Jelbi whitepaper's own timeline states the Jelbi alliance was presented in February 2019, the first Jelbi station opened in April 2019, and the app itself launched in June 2019: "Im Februar 2019 wurde das Jelbi-Bündnis vorgestellt, im April die erste Jelbi-Station eröffnet und im Juni 2019 die Jelbi-App gelauncht." ITS International's 21 February 2019 article independently confirms BVG ("public transport company Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG)") as the operator partnering with Trafi.
Caveat
The ITS International piece was published on 21 Feb 2019 and describes the launch as still forthcoming ("will be available in the summer"), so the explicit year comes from the whitepaper's own timeline, not from ITS's body text. The whitepaper is a PowerPoint-to-PDF export; its embedded text layer may not respond cleanly to a direct on-page search — the passage sits on the slide titled "Erste Mobilitätsstation Berlins 2019 am U Prinzenstraße / Wo alles seinen Anfang nahm."

No single cited source lists all seven modes together. Mopeds are confirmed only indirectly — a hub-photo caption and a whitepaper passage about Berlin's citywide shared-vehicle fleet, not a sentence naming Jelbi's own integrated modes. Caveat
The whitepaper says "bald 350" (soon [reaching] 350) — the count had not yet reached 350 at the time of the July 2025 report, only approaching it. The entry's "roughly 350 ... by 2025" turns a forward-looking figure into a stated total.
