TPG's chief financial officer Stephen Banfield told investors the same morning: 'TPG will be Adelaide's official foundation network and services partner to roll out a new fibre optic network capable of delivering 10Gbps services per customer to over 1000 sites in Adelaide.' The wording announced that day is 'official foundation network and services partner', not the later title 'Official Network Provider'.
Caveat: The December 2017 announcement named TPG as Adelaide's official foundation network and services partner. Two later trade-press accounts date the formal partnership, and the title 'Official Network Provider', to 2018 instead.
